These last few weeks have been a whirlwind for me, with the planning of my sister in-laws baby shower along with the filming for our friends HGTV pilot in our small kitchen! Let’s just say a lot has been happening!!!
Due to COVID we unfortunately couldn’t throw the big celebration baby shower we had hoped too, but with a little creativity, a very small guest list and one of my besties’ luxury picnic companies “Tiny Village Picnic” behind me I knew I could make this showering for the momma to be extra special! I’ve never been a believer in “bigger is better” anyways!
I started scouring ETSY & Pinterest for ideas and found so many great artists and themes! I went with a simple baby pink balloon/ boho vibe, which I knew my sister-in-law would love. With their baby girl due this November we kept tones in a neutral/pink palette with touches of fall in the greenery & flowers. The boho vibe was created with white fringe umbrellas by Business & Pleasure Co., faux sheep rugs & linen pillows. All were brought in and set up by Tiny Village Picnic, which took the coordinating of set up out of the equation (SO NICE). Here are a few pictures I snapped including the delicious salads and treats catered by Santa Barbara’s State&Fig restaurant… Marisa and Patrick are so lovely to work with and there food is beyond delicious! All was handled with the utmost care due to social distancing standards. Thank you to all who helped make this such a special event, it really does take a village ; )
