This next dress is a Velvet by Graham & Spencer and it’s my mid week or weekend go to because it tends to be easy, from walking the pups to running out for drinks it’s my “I don’t have to think” dress, not to mention the material is the softest. Bonus… it’s on sale right now!
One of my husband’s and I favorite weekend adventures happens to be going up to the Santa Ynez Valley for walks around Los Olivos, browsing boutiques and wine tasting. We’re so lucky to have this beautiful place right over the hill from us here in Santa Barbara.
Favorite Tasting Locations:

Top (Forever 21)
Skirt, Halogen (Nordstrom)
Wedges, See by Chloe (Saks Fifth Ave.)
Winter Birthday Celebration at Disneyland
What can I say, Disneyland is basically one of my all time favorite places.
So… In wake of my 36th Birthday I found it only fitting to spend it at “The Happiest Place on Earth” with my family. Yes I’m getting up there in age, yet know one is ever too old to have a “Disney Day”!

I had always dreamed of going to Paris since I was a little girl and when my husband said we should go and visit his aunt and uncle I jumped at the opportunity.
We went mid March through first week of April staying half the time in the 17th district only about a mile down the road from Montmartre and our last 14 days was spent on a cute street called Quai Voltaire on the left bank. We were really lucky to get a solid feel of the whole city.
The majority of our days were spent exploring different districts, museums, biking the entire Seine, shopping and brunching at various cafes, yet the best part of my Paris adventure was getting to dress in my Winter wardrobe that I rarely bring out in California!
I tried to stay with a fairly neutral palette when packing for Paris, which allowed me to mix and match pieces easily throughout 17 days of travel.
I can’t wait to go back and hopefully explore Southern France next time!
